About AXEN Realty: the facts in one place
AXEN Realty is a real estate brokerage. Our agents help people buy and sell homes. Agents pay AXEN a flat fee per closing instead of splitting their commission, so more of every deal stays with the agent doing the work.
What AXEN does for home buyers and sellers
An AXEN agent helps you search for a home, price and sell your home, write and negotiate offers, and get to closing. Talking with an agent is free. What you pay your agent is agreed with you in writing, and it is always negotiable.
- Buying: search homes, then read the home buying guide.
- Selling: get a free home value and read the home selling guide.
- Paying for it: the home financing guide covers loans, credit and closing costs.
- Finding an agent: find an AXEN agent near you.
What "flat fee" means at AXEN
The flat fee is what our agents pay AXEN. It is not a discount listing service for home sellers. Home buyers and sellers agree on their agent's pay directly with the agent, like at any brokerage.
For agents, on the Pro plan AXEN charges $500 per closing ($250 when the commission is under $2,500, nothing under $1,000), capped at $6,000 a year. The Elite plan is $1,000 per closing, capped at $12,000. There is also a $295 admin fee per file and a $50 a month platform fee. There is no commission split. Agents can earn revenue share up to five levels deep on agents they bring to AXEN. See how joining works and how the fees compare.
Mortgage, title and insurance
AXEN has affiliated mortgage, title and insurance companies, so your agent, loan, title and insurance can work as one team. You never have to use them. Ask your agent for the written Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure before you choose.
NEXA Mortgage, LLC (NMLS #1660690) is the lender; AXEN Realty does not make loans. AXEN Realty and NEXA Mortgage are affiliated companies. You are never required to use NEXA Mortgage or any AXEN-affiliated lender. Compare lenders, and ask your agent for the written Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure before you choose. Rates, programs and approval depend on your credit, income, property and lender guidelines. Equal Housing Lender.
